i drive 500 miles a week in all weather conditions that Oklahoma can throw at us. I agree with throwing it into 4 hi for the added traction. If you have more traction then your going to be better off. Wheather your on ice or just wet roads......slick is slick and you can help by pulling up on that little lever to the first click. I mean you have it....why not give yourself the added protection....This is not a not knowing how to drive condition on my part...I took a 2wd Geo Tracker to Alaska and drove it there for almost two years....But 4 wheels grabbing is better than two...
