I'll add ... 4Hi in the rain DOES seem like overkill ... unless that rain is FREEZING to the road, I've never felt a need to leave 2Hi.

i drive 500 miles a week in all weather conditions that Oklahoma can throw at us. I agree with throwing it into 4 hi for the added traction. If you have more traction then your going to be better off. Wheather your on ice or just wet roads......slick is slick and you can help by pulling up on that little lever to the first click. I mean you have it....why not give yourself the added protection....This is not a not knowing how to drive condition on my part...I took a 2wd Geo Tracker to Alaska and drove it there for almost two years....But 4 wheels grabbing is better than two...

I can just say for those of us who still have the stockers that are awful in the rain that every little helps.I'm just hoping i won't need the 4wh hi in the rain with the REVO's.. I wish I had select trac but I couldn't pass up paying 13,800 for my Renny with 40k on it. The dealer made a mistake and priced as a normal KJ and then i talked them down.. I bought it from Caddy village in Norwood one the few spots in Mass who are also a Hummer dealer..They weren't lookin for big bucks for it compared to the other Hummers on the lot..hehehe..
