Dealer called on friday and said they got the BCM replaced and the tire size was put in the system and it all worked!!!
So I go down to pick it up, start to drive off and the speedometer does not move. I turn around and talk to them again. They hook up the scan tool and whaddya know, It seems like the new BCM is misbehaving too!
So this is getting a little ridiculous! They are going to order another BCM and put it in next week. I must have a cursed Liberty or something. But the good news is that the tech said he got the tire size change to work and inputed 672 revs/mile and it worked until I tried to drive it off the lot.
On a side note, the tech did say that the new springs (OME H/D) made the liberty ride better than any stock 2002-2007 liberty he has ever been in. So anyone looking for a great lift, I can't say enough about the OME's

I just had the pinion adjusted yesterday at the dealer for $42. Took the tech all of 15 minutes....though I have an '04 without ABS. He said he could manually adjust the pinion from around 350 to over 750 since my tire size was not an option. I did have a few tips for him porvided by meh_kick when he watched the tech do his a couple weeks ago.
Good to see that for someone it worked easy. I think you are right, you have to educate the dealer most of the time on this thing, as they are not familar with many people lifting liberties and putting larger tires on them.
