jeep jeepsters must be different, my crossmember bolts to the body with 4 bolts per side instead of 3. and my transfercase and tranny skid go on with the same 2 bolts through the same holes on the crossmember. i didnt have to make any new holes, i just drilled straight up through where the nutzerts were so i could use a longer bolt and washer/nut
Yours is a '02 with the 45RFE trans, his is a '04 with the 42RLE,and the thread starter has the manual trans.
lol yea, lots of variables! its crazy! lol
i had a rustys style tranny skid, its from an 05-07 im guessing, the front engine crossmembers must be different between 02-04 and 05-07 because you know how the rear lower a-arm mount crossmember, how its flat in the middle under the oil-pan, and then curves UP by the a-arms? my engine-skid rear left bolt mounts up on that right where it starts to curve.
PICS tomorrow! if you read my posts clearly(not pointing anybody out, just saying so nobody yells at me for "what the heck did you say? haha) they DO make sense! its hard to explain in words! its NOT jibberish! i know it looks like it, but its not hahah
