Funny, I don't see any of the posters who defended this guy & talked about forgiveness & told us to give him another chance stepping forward to make good on this? Or even commenting?

I’m not sure if I defended the guy as much as I granted him forgiveness for finally coming clean the first time. However, forgiveness also requires repentance, and repentance requires making a change. In simple words, JHCRASH has repeatedly made poor choices that has severed his relationship with the LOST Community. I feel sorry for those who have been involved in this unethical chaos and I hope that there will be a positive outcome. In the State of New Mexico, I am a mediator. My job is to resolve conflict before it hits the legal system. In conflict resolution, practicing forgiveness is “always” one step towards healing. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. Once you have exhausted your resources and have tried all other interventions, then the legal system must intervene. A positive outcome of mediation is when both parties are able to negotiate (not compromise). A negative outcome of mediation is when one or both parties are not willing to negotiate, then the legal system will make the final decision for you, which doesn’t always mean that either party will get what they want. So, my involvement in an earlier thread was to act as a neutral third party and try to maintain a peaceful discussion and start a healing process.

chris - aside from correspondence between you and the other guy to get the bumper to your liking, do you have any 'official' receipt from him/his company?

Iv got a feeling the guy lost his job. Had bills to pay and used Chris's money to pay them rather than buy the material and now he's in deeper and just doesn't want to be found by anyone he owes anything to sadly.

If that is true then he would not be very bright because if he lost his job then he would have more time to make bumpers. Demand for his bumpers was high and if he would just make and sell his bumpers he could make a profit. Someone who grabs the money and runs is just a short term thinker. If he wanted to actually build a business and have money in the future you have to serve your customers. But if you rob your customers and piss them off you will be worse off in the future than if you hadn't gone into business at all.

He needs to sell the design to someone who will make them and is a reputable company.

Close: He needs to give the design to those he screwed over so that maybe they can sell the design and recover some of the money that he has no intentions of giving back.

Either forgiveness is up to each person or the proponents of the person bear some responisibility. When someone intercedes on that persons behalf, testifying for & about them, then they assume some responsibility for the aftermath they help bring about. If you stand up for someone, you take part of the fall. If you cannot assure someone has "recanted," then you should only make the decision for yourself and not try to convert others to your way of thinking. It is pretty easy to set back with a ready-made excuse when it all blows up. If you can't be assured of someone, being their frontman & spokesperson about some load of bull they fed you may not be the best policy. Very few other people are shocked at this turn of events and saw it coming despite the cheerleader(s) trying to push his sob story.

Indeed he did but then again he didn't get screwed over by a scam artist fabricator in Utah.

Here is the thing.
I have kept in contact with everyone that was still owed a bumper,Even Chris. The thing is I actually told him it might be done the end of Jan. But probably the first part of Feb. It in fact will be done next week.He is aware of this.

I understand why everyone has such distrust in me. But come on after two weeks of non contact he starts another negative thread and all of you just jump on the bandwagon again (not that some of you were off of it) I mean I could see it if it were a month or two or something but a week or two. Not that I think I need to explain to any of you but I was out of town on the road with my company for two weeks. This happens alot where I work.

It is funny how people come on here to cry about a situation but only tell the part of the story they want you to hear. And it is funny how everyone listens to it.

Oh and how he just wants a winch mount and a stinger. Not the case he wanted to completely redesign the bumper to get a winch mount on top, so I was doing him the favor because he paid less than most everyone else that pre ordered. And I had to make arrangements to accept payments. So hey my bad for trying to do the customer a favor.

But whatever. You guys do and think what you want. You will never be forced to buy one. I promise.

If you want to buy the design pm me.
