I'm looking at a lifted '05 that's for sale at a dealer. I haven't seen it in person yet so I can't tell what kind of lift it has but I'd like to have an idea of whether there's a "hack" way of lifting or if all the lifts out there are considered "the right way." From looking around here, seems like the worst case is the budget lift. If that's all it has, is that ok? Or should it at least have some longer shocks, new bump stops, brake line relocation, etc.?

It has 96k mi on it and they're asking $7800, which I think is a little steep. I'm always weary of buying someone else's project too.

Is that a stripped down Renegade or did someone maybe do a flat hood conversion?

I think that is a RME (Rocky Mountain Edition).

If you see a block between the upper strut mount and the body. Without extended bumpstops that can cause some serious damage. Post a picture and I'm sure we can tell you what lift it is.
