Well, it's been a year since i bought it so it's unlikely i would get an exchange.
I'd call just to see what they say at east before I spent any more money. Couldn't hurt. Send them a link to this thread.
I sent them an email but haven't received a response yet. I would be surprised if there is any kind of warranty a year after but they may offer me a discount on a new set. who knows? If that doesn't pan out, i am still curious to see how the 4" from jba would change things back there.
I am debating on putting JBA 4" coils in the rear myself. I figured if OME HD with 2 upper iso gives you about 4" of lift (from what I have read) well then why not go with just a full coil and do away with the iso.
The question is does anyone have any experience with the 4" lift springs. whats their load fo resistance (ie the HD frankenlift is 400lbs) will the 4" lift springs from Als sag after a little bit of time etc etc
I only knew of one guy who got the 4" lift, but I think he quit being a member.
I emailed marlin and he says the spring rate is only 200 and I think that is comparable to stock. he also said the initially you get 4 to 4.5" over stock but then I am sure these will settle atleast an inch and then over time more then that. haha. I wonder why only 200?
200lbs is very low My stock springs with a spacer lift are shot due to all the weight I haul around, thats why I am upgrading my springs to the HD frankies they take twice the load. I dont think I would trust a spring thats 4" longer but only carries 200lbs test, it will probably settle 2" in a year, lol hell my stock springs settled an 1" after having my jeep for 2 years and their basically the same load.
As to the original poster I dont think the 4" lift spring will settle your issues if their only rated at 200lbs. I think you are better finding out if you have the HD coils in the rear and replacing those if their not. Also check your springs for stress fractures if they are the HD coils and they have stress fractures that would be the reason they sag so much. But sounds like you might only have the light or Med coils and if thats the case a set of HD coils is cheap 150$ since you already have the rest the hardware, you can just slip those in.
