Who's found the best deals lately on black steel wheels? Have a buddy who wants some 16x7 with 4 inch backspacing for his Liberty, doesn't like Soft 8s but may have to settle for them.

Before I start looking for him ( he doesn't own a computer  ) just thought I would check to see what others had found in the last few weeks!

What he really wants is just a basic steel wheel more or less like a Chevy rally type , found some but 100/120 EACH!!!

THANKS!!

Don't forget that Summit sells their normal products at "sale prices" on eBay.

Cragar D-Window Black 15x7 4" BS 5x4.5"
$41.95 ea

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=43955

Cragar D-Window Black 15x7 4.25" BS 5x4.5"
$41.95 ea

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=43955

They only charge $9.95 shipping on the first wheel, all subsequent are free!

I just got done with two wheel shipped for under $100

You chose the wrong bolt space for the Liberty. You have 5x4.75" not the correct 5x4.5"

Just before I posted my last message I had ordered the wheels from Summit's eBay store.

At 3:10 this morning I received an email from Summit stating that my order was shipping today. I clicked the link in the email and was SHOCKED to see my UPS tracking information was updated....

US 10/20/2009 12:39 A.M. BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

Are black rock wheels in stock now and shipping? Wasnt there a problem with them earlier this summer?

For some reason now Summit & Jegs no longer list 16" Black Rock Wheels? Just a month or two ago, they had them.

The Black Rock site lists "where to buy" - Discount Tire is listed under the USA dealers (among many others) so that's where I plan to order mine from. I'm still undecided if I want Type-8, or Blade wheels??

Fwiw, off topic sort of - I'm also going to order the new Nitto Trail Grapplers when I order the wheels.

Though the Summit ebay pics show the Cragar Wheels with the Center Caps, the text clearly says that they do not come with them, while the Black Rocks from Quadratec clearly say that they do come with the caps.

Doesn't matter to me since when I eventually do this, I intend to do what Mike did here:

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=34957

Except I want to do it with D-Windows and not Soft-8's...

Mine did not come with any center caps or lugs, but I do like that look in the link. I would paint them to match the fender flares though.

They did arrive at my front door in less than 48hrs from when I sent payment. Not bad for only paying $9.95 for 58lbs of box :D

I am still looking and seeing what I like best. My buddy gave me the go ahead to buy him something, whatever I like best, boy will he be surprised

I think what I really want for the next set is a set of MOPAR Police wheels with the dog dish hubcaps, powder coated in a dark metallic grey. 16 x 8 5 inch backspacing like the MOABS. Have to find a company to make a set for 200 each or something silly like that.
I think I found some on Stocktons website, may have to call for more info

Tom,

I just put a set of these on:

http://www.jegs.com/p/Cragar/Cragar-365 ... 7/10002/-1

I liked them because they're different from the Soft 8's and D-windows EVERYONE is running. Something to consider...

Also I like your idea about the mopar police wheels. Those are the coolest rims goin, especially with the poverty caps with the holes drilled in them. I'm not sure they'd look too good on a KJ though...
