About a month ago I purchased a set of the insane arms from RRO (mistake #1) While installing the arms I noticed that they fit very snuggly. I took a large prybar and a mini sledge to get them into place. Once installed the front end made some pretty horrable squeeking noises. I took it right to the alignment shop after a considerable amount of time they told me that the camber came in at +1.6 degrees on the driver side and the passenger side was perfect. I was not very impressed by this and called RRO. They told me that it was impossible that there was a problem with there had to be a problem with my jeep or installation. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that he only communicates via email. After a week of sending emails back and forth I pulled the arms and reversed them the problem was still there (alignment #2) I than sent some more emails back and forth with Glen, he tells me over and over that he has sold thousands of these arms and NEVER had a set come back. BS!!! So I took it dealership and they couldn't get it any closer (alignment #3) Anyway I ordered a set of the JBA 4.5's in the meantime. When they came in I compared the two. Night and Day!!! Nicer welds and better bushings. After using the large prybar to remove the RRO's from the front of my jeep I slid the JBA's in with one hand. After installing there was no noise. The next day I took it to a 3rd alignment shop that was able to get it dialed in perfectly. On top of a shotty product RRO took over a week to process my return and still have not been able to talk to the one person there that had any clue as to what was going on with the arms. Marlin at JBA spent about a half hour talking to me on the phone answering questions before I even commited to buying his arms. I would strongly recomend that if you don't buy the JBA's, Keep buying stock!!!

HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS TO KEEP OTHERS FROM MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE.

Sincerely
STUMP

The one product I bought from RRO was the KJ Tire spacer, but they don't actually make it, outlaw or something or other makes it, and one of the wheel studs was horribly/visually misaligned so I sent it back but delt with the parent company and not RRO for the refund

I might be wrong but,

Thousands of lifted liberties: Believable

Thousands of liberties with full suspension lifts: ehhhh, Still Possible

Thousands of liberties with enough lift and smart enough owners to know the need for A-arms: kinda out there

Yea,

The local redneck shop said they have lifted "dozens of Liberties"

but I have only ever seen three lifted liberties around town, One is from Tenn., One is owned by a local kid who did it Himself, both are daystars,

AND MINE!

Being that everyone is running with the line that he sold thousands. I talked to Marlin at JBA and he said that he may have hit the thousand mark but probably not. I believe that there are more JBA's out there that RRO's

Wow, that really suprises me that Marlin has done that many. I can't see how RRO would even have done half of Marlins quantity, didn't they just come out with them last year?

Well, when I first read the thread that RRO had copied JBA and selling their new product, I stated my opinion then. There were a select few who were celebrating the “need for competition” and that RRO had a great product for a cheaper price. I had to bite my tongue and move on. Fast forward to now and I can’t say that I’m even the least bit surprised that this thread has been brought to our attention. My concern has never been about product quality. My concern has always been about customer service. With that being said, I’m sorry it happened to stumpjumper_09.

Well, I was one of those people that was celebrating the "need for competition" now I am celebrating the "need for preperation H" This has not been that much fun and like I'll continue to say everyone told me so and hopefully some hard facts will help others to not make the same mistake.

At least if they were a quality product they could be worth the headache of dealing with them...maybe. But now we have at least one piece of evidence showing that even their quality is a gamble.

Now, now, calm down...when the product was copied the fit and finish wasn't copied exactly...they'll fix it in the next generation for sure...

NOTE: Above words typed with EXTREME sarcasm.

I know you are new to the forum and to 4 wheel drives for that matter but....One piece of evidence??? We have had a lot of "evidence" over the years, this is not the firstt time for them to screw something up. Thats why it has been preached for at least 6 or 7 years or longer now. Its like saying Rustys springs will sag, their top spacers will not fit without redrilling. Its a story that has long been told but some still refuse to hear what a lot of us say!
