the courser M/T isn't a bad tire either for the money, it is quite loud, roughly as loud as a TSL

can't complain with the grip though, literally tried to get stuck in it's designated terrain and it would just push the front wheels in 2wd

The coursers are pretty sick, common around where i live too.

Quite a few trucks running them. still not sure if they are for me though.

no siping, but that could be fixed

If you have never rode in one with them how would you know?
Some people haven't a clue about what they speak or what actually works the best, loudness does not mean it works best

I have ridden in a truck with duratracs, my friend has them on his silverado.

I know loud doesn't necessarily mean they work.

But I love that Mud tire Roar

I had the original MTR's and I liked them alot
(except for the noise and mileage hit - normal for an MT)
great off road.

Firestones are consistently top rated in Tire Rack.

don't know anyone who's actively compared them.

LOTS of guys around where I live run them.

I guess that says something for them?

if you are gonna run a tire, you might as well consider what works for other people in your wheeling area right?

I must admit, that I do like the Duratracs, as Tom suggested so subtly

but as I said before, I love the sound of Loud raunchy mud tires roaring down the road.

So I tried to pick the tires that were consistently rated high, and also ones that were consistently reviewed to be Noisy.

so in other words, the noisiest of the highest rated tires I could find (except for one or two that I just like the way they looked over their quietness)
