Lower on drivers side than on passenger side...

I just remeasured my lift after having it on for over a month and the rear on the drivers side is 22" and the passenger side is 23". Any ideas on what may be causing this?

hmmm, normally it is the other way around...

the drivers side spring is normally a few pounds heavier than the pass. side...

maybe the franky was assembled backwards?

I don't know if the OME springs are specific for right side/left side.

I did mine on OME's and they had nothing about side specific lol, Mine is still level. Dead Shocks? Did you do a Clevis that may have slipped?

Good point on the clevis....

I measured all angles agian....

Drivers front: 22"

Drivers rear: 22"

Passenger front: 22.5"

Passenger Rear: 23"

No slipped clevis. Shocks are brand new. Still an inch higher on one side in the rear.

I would take it back to the installer and demand my money back that I paid to have it done :twisted:

something has either settled more on one side or you could have a bad spring. I had one OME on a customers out of all that I have installed that sagged

Im wondering if the clevis slipped ?? I have seen the rear be off a 1/2 inch or so with aftermarket spring's but not so much the rear !!!

Yeah it is 24 on the passenger and 23 on the driver......visible from the rear on level ground...

You might also take a look at the springs. Are there any turns in the coil that look exceedingly / strangely close to each other? A flaw in the spring somewhere might cause a larger than normal local deflection, and being an inch difference it might be readily visible. Maybe park in a level area, take a picture of each spring and include a tape measure in the photo, measuring from the upper isolator seat to the lower isolator seat.

Do your isolators look fine? Maybe one of them cracked / seperated or something?

Try swapping the springs?

I'd start by looking closely / measuring between isolator mounts.

Mine has done the same thing for the past few years. I replaced a blown rear shock, both rear springs and added isolators to both sides, still around a 1/2 in lower on the drivers side then the passengers side. Just learned to deal with it.

I've been looking at this and wondering did they just not seat the front spring on one side correctly? They should be seated into the iso up front so maybe one is not in the right way. Another thought is did you have top plates installed? if so maybe they forgot one side? Still doesn't explain the rear tho.

Lift was done in Ohio by the Dayton LOST crew
We don't forget to install things and we also know what to look for and do it right! :wink:

We've done more lifts in Ohio than most any other state
so has to be a spring problem (OR maybe it was wrecked somewhere along the line before the OP bought it)

No wrecks on the carfax I ran before I purchased it. Only two prior owners. A daughter who sold it to her mom (senior citizen) who then drove it for a couple thousand miles then sold it to me. I have not wrecked it either. When Scott swapped rear springs, the problem is still the exact same as before!

OK measure between the coils on both fronts and both rears
You could have a weak coil, happened once on one I did. I have a almost new coil up here if you want totry and swap it out
OR contact ARB, they will want measurements/ pictures etc of everything plus when you installed, mileage etc.

Here is the crazy part of it all Tom.

When the springs were pulled, the drivers side one was slightly shorter than the passenger side one. So we continued with the swap. The drivers side is still shorter than the passenger side. Not by as much as before. If I remember right, 3/4" in the rear and 3/8" in the front.....all on the drivers side. I have measured it since that run Sunday, so maybe it settled.

Lower on drivers side than on passenger side...
