Welcome to the forum. As a fairly new member (who has just pulled the trigger on the lift for my Libby), I can offer the advice that the others have:
Point #1:Tom IS the man when it comes to the info on Jeep Liberty lifting. I bought what I thought was a good lift only to find out the front springs were not the best (Skyjacker). After Tom educated me, I sent an email to the , very reputable, retailer and exchanged emails back and forth, all to find out Tom was correct. I immediately made arrangements to upgrade.
I am going the whole hog on my lift. Why?
Point #2: After pining for several years about lifting my Jeep, I decided I would rather save up and spend the extra money to do it right the first time, rather than have to spend more money later to fix the cheap job (already had that with my roof rack!). I'll admit, I've gone over my estimated budget, but feel in the end that I have a lift that will probably last longer than the Jeep itself.
I know it's a killer to have this long list of mods you want to do (made even worse when you see some of the fine rigs on this forum... I'm trying to emulate Tom's in fact!

) but I have found it was well worth it for me to wait and save for the best (or at least widely accepted as worth what...) your money can buy.
And, my stock springs are shot at 50,000 miles. I would have wasted the cost of a spacer lift about 10,000 miles ago!
Enjoy the forum and suck up all the info you can. It will be worth it in the long run... And, be patient Grasshopper!
