For a week or so? WOW! Really backing off there, aren't you?

Then go ahead and just show up or call Sat. morning about 10AM. I should be out there by then. 8)

Another Day ..... Today .... more time to work on the Jeep!
So when I went out today I reinstalled the timing gear cover, got the water pump bolted on with no gasket again, put the timing marker on, bolted on the fuel pump, got the motor mounts bolted back on and the distributor in! (deep breath here) Installed the modified transmission mount to the tailshaft, bolted the tailshaft on to the C4 ..... let's see.... what else? Oh Ya! when I moved the trans around to install the tailshaft, something was rolling around in the pan!!! So, I turn the trans. over and pull the pan and find a small bolt rolling around loose in there! I put the bolt back in and torqued everything in there back down. Now I have to get a new trans pan gasket! After I was through with that I started thinking about my new MSD Ignition Box and where I was going to mount it. Why not mount it just like the PCM? Wait ... the PCM is on a plate! Got the PCM, got the MSD ... Perfect! Drilled and tapped new holes for the MSD box and got it mounted on it's plate. Think I got it figured out where the coil mount will be too!

How the motor sits now

I guess that it for today guys and gals!

Headed over to my sis's house to watch NASCAR @ Richmond 8)

Pulled the trans crossmember out and got it all marked and laid out for the new holes for the C4 trans mount.
Bought this at the car show/swap meet for it. Kept looking for an oil pan, valve covers and starter, but no luck today.
