I'm guessing the dealer will probably change the timing belt while they have it to change the timing belt
Other common wear items you might want to check:
- suspension ball joints
- softened/rotted Intercooler hoses (warm and cool side)
- leaking fuel filter head (check for telltale diesel residue around the filter gasket)
- proper operating temperature (just under midline on the gauge). Any lower indicates a likely early failure of the thermostat.
Other than that, as Sam said, read up and keep learning.
