I went out to the desert as I often do on a Saturday for a full day of high-speed thrills. The was about 12" of snow on top of some very snotty mud thanks to the temps climbing into the 40's. We spent about 6 hrs drifting around curves and giving the ESP light a real workout. I had to make sure that my rig was ready for the day:
timing belt well past scheduled replacement - check
leaking axle seal - check
tires that look like bologna skins - check
not entirely sure what mileage the oil was last changed - check
uncrustables - check
giant foam middle finger - check
Stopped along the way to check out an abandoned mine
Bustin' a move
Got much muddier as the day went on
The fun light went off when the trans temp light came on at this point. The KJ would not move anymore so I had to hang out for like 20 mins waiting for the light to switch off
This is what I was trying to climb when the light triggered
Weak attempt to go all Shutter Monkey with an iPhone
And the day ends with a 100% cedar fire... cause cedar fires are gangster
