Tommudd, your jeep, as well as all the accessories on it, look amazing. Really amazing. I am really impressed with it. Beautiful.
One question though; why is the bumper complete in one pic
Complete with the hi lift holder unpainted in one
And missing the hi lift holder in another all together?

Got it with the spare tire holder only, then Marty made the Hilift/can carrier a couple of months ago and I installed it

Agree , I tried emails and calling to offer suggestions to JCR and never got one response to their carppy way of making their front mounts on the rock rails
Other wise they have a good product but that one issue is enough to make them subpar

I have a set of JCR Stage 3 rock rails. Just installed them a couple of months ago.
I had zero problems with the install. The only difficult part was wrestling them into place by myself to mark the
holes on the sub frame. BTW.... I have all 4 bolts in on the front mount, but did have a "hole" very close to one of the rear bolts on my sub frame, so I left it out.

I made my own template for the pinch weld from a strip of wood I had laying around in the garage.

To be honest, it was more of a chore to install my ARB bumper than the rock rails.

I know of two KJs and a KK where the front mounting hole for the rock rails were located right where there is a hole in the frame. Maybe they wised up and changed it finally

It's almost theft. I've seen a local one of his so called products. A soldered together mess. He takes forever to. Make half booty products. At this point just about any other bumper company is better. Atleast they won't have you wait a year after you paid, using your money to fund some stupid sfa kit

You are absolutely right it is (almost)theft! Im one of those people waiting for my rear bumper that I paid for a year ago. He told me that it would be done and ready to ship after he received my forth and last payment! Yeah right!

Ok stupid question time, but then I am a noob, who or what is jcr?
Tom, I read on here one guy had a problem with the grease nipples, you see any flaw with them? That's the bumper I have my heart set on. Soooo nice. The ole ball and chain(she's going to kill me when she reads that) isn't too keen on $1800 for a bumper. I really got lucky to buy one with the front arb or we would have had to discuss it. Honestly, with me probably being the loser. Now that she has seen how important it is to be steel instead of plastic she's a little more approachable. So wants the skinks and the rear bumper that is $700. But then what's a guy to do with his hi lift?

Really??? A year later huh? You have documentation of payment and when the promised due date was in writing? If that's true, it's pretty bad from a customer service standpoint. No one can argue that. I believe I would ask for my money back.

Although that doesn't look like it would be a major structural defect considering where it is on the bumper, but why not weld it all the way as opposed to just tacking it in a few places? Are all the welds just tacks like that or lower is it fully done?

If you pay almost a grand for something and wait a year for it and drive half way across the country to pick it up, only having to wait a few days because it isn't done, you'd expect more wouldn't you? When he's on his game, very few products can compete.

Not yet, he keeps telling me he is waiting for the hinges or something like that. I'll check my emails. Its a great looking bumper no doubt! Just not good business practices.

we should all boycott jeep... after all they have known about faulty window regulators in the liberty but never seemed to fix that. I've paid for 2 myself. That is what you sound like right now, one small problem or mishap in a product and the whole thing goes to doo doo. I would say either buy from him or don't, but otherwise don't bring up negative comments and remarks. I would have thought that adults would act with a bit more dignity, but hey I guess my parents raised me to be more respectful towards others, especially when they are doing something for you. If you can't do it yourself don't gripe when someone else does it for you, otherwise go buy a welder and steel to make it yourself :2cents:

He's not doing anything for you. Get that idea out of your head. This isn't a charity. It's a for profit business. And what Window regulator cost that much?

Yep youre right he isnt doing me a service that I myself cannot do. silly me I forgot I could weld and had the materials to do so. And every time ive got a window regulator replaced its cost over 100 from the dealer. No one said this was a charity thats why I worked to pay for what I asked him to make and im willing and patient enough to wait as I know it will be quality when it arrives. Its humorous that you are so gun hoe to argue about a product which you yourself do not own.

I've seen the good the bad and the ugly. I've been around here on and off for 4 years. This argument is done. If you are fine waiting will 2013 be my guest but get off that guys Johnson. You know those are shady business practices. It's come up at many meet and greet...

Maybe its time you go off again
This argument shouldn't have stated seeing as the original topic was lost, its people like you that ruin positive places like LOST. Our community should be getting companies to produce things for us, not insult those that already do. No company will want to make things if people like you receive them so critically. Imagine if when JCR came on here if everyone just said no those suck. They would have backed off and dozens of people wouldn't have sliders.

Those? There's only one. Arb and jba make enough to be satisfying. If you don't like that, make your own, or buy a wrangler

Your argument contradicts itself. what you are saying is that if I dont like I should make my own, however you are the one who doesnt seem satisfied, perhaps you should make a more coherent argument then come back.

I'm not the only one. But I guess you haven't gotten out enough and talked to people to know that. I was told about this thread by another local and we'll known kj owner on this Site. Tbj (he's before your time) is STILL waiting for his.
