Hello all, I am new to this site and very thankful to find it. I bought my 2006 Sport CRD at the end of December 2006 and absolutely love it so far after nearly 6000 miles. I just had a few questions that hopefully some folks here can help me with...
1. What PSI do you feel is best to run with the stock Wrangler ST tires? I currently run 33 PSI.
2. My MPG sucks (20 MPG at best so far) and I drive very conserativley, any tips?
3. I want to build up the performance a bit and hopefully get better MPG, what are some of the good products out there so far? Cat Back Exhaust, Air Box Mods, Chips, etc. Also what would be some of the best things to start with on a budget?
4. Has anyone gutted their catalytic converters yet? I know they are the straight through type and are difficult to do. I'm wondering about added performance and any extra exhaust stinch.
I'll probably think of some more Q's later, thanks to anyone who can help me out!

1. Been running same tires nitrogen filled @ 40 PSI, tire wear is perfect, with good traction on the cheap tires.
2. Averaging 20 to 22 in town and 27 to 30 hwy.
3. Best budget bang for the buck is to ditch the OEM muffler for a straight threw glass pack, will help turbo spool up faster by relieving back pressure. No real increase in noise either.
4. Don't worry about Cat and you can keep it unclogged by ocassional hard run through the gears.
