Can't see any negatives with Evans waterless coolant.
This seems like a good modification - it service is for the life of the engine outstanding.
A pressure-less system should last forever. This would mean that hoses only need replacing after perishing from age and the coolant can be captured and re-introduced.
The changeover worries me though with this particular block - in removing all the water as max H20 content recommended is 5% then the properties are compromised.
Apparently, the Evans pre-treatment does a fair job of capturing remnant water though.
Already have a bypass coolant filter in the pipeline (pardon the pun).
It's one less job to regularly do - I hate these piddle jobs for the case that the materials are inadequate formulated.
It's like painting - they could make a house paint that lasts forever but they won't.
Corrosion and cavitation cease.
If it's good enough for Jay Leno's Duesenberg which is a known tough one to keep cooled?
No pressure system so no radiator or water jacket failures.
Boils at 176 deg C @ 5000 ft elevation.
Hmmm, thinking.
I would not recommend it,it's highly flammable and not the right chemistry that your cooling system is spec'd for. It's not maintenance free either, you must test on a yearly basis and replenish the additive package.
