ESP/ABS, Trac lights finally went out for me when I did what RED_KJ_666 suggested. I throughly sprayed all around the brakes on all four wheels with my power vehicle washer. It's been a couple weeks and it works the way it should.
Many thanks RED!
Mine was working fine until last Thursday, when I got in during a torrential downpour and fired her up. I got about 7 feet on the paved road in front of my house when the above mentioned lights came on. ABS, EPS/BAS, and the little squiggly lines under the vehicle ESP/TCS light all come on, and the Jeep starts bucking and lurching, feeling like the engine is trying to stall as I apply throttle. It behaves a little better if I then press the ESP button on the column, for a while, sometimes not.
Sometimes the TCS will go from solid on mode to blinking mode on pavement, which means I have to press the ESP button again.
It's generally pretty random when it happens in the last few days, but it happens more often than not, now.
I just started it, the lights are off and the horn is working, so I'll have to check that when the lights come on again.
I'm in the middle of moving from one end of the DC area of Virginia to Roanoke, do my garage is full and all my tools are packed and stored in places I don't have catalogued right now, and I don't have the first clue who I'd take it to around here, yet, either.
