Hope everybody had a good weekend. After work Friday, I went back to the tire shop to talk to the guy who placed my order. He reassured me the tires would fit just fine, showing me on his computer that they're not to exceed manufacturers tolerances by more than 3%. According to their computer, things will play out fine. I'll find out today or tomorrow when the tires arrive.
On Saturday, I had oil change and new rear brakes installed at my stealership (coupon deal), which fixed my 45-50 mph brake vibrations. I noticed this morning that I'm leaking oil now, and AC fan position #2 no longer works.

The blower cuts off completely in position 2, but 1, 3, and 4 work fine. Looks like I need a return trip so they can correct whatever they did. I have 30K miles left in my Maximum Care extended warranty, but there's a $100 deductible that I'd rather not pay, since the AC switch worked normally when I brought it to them.
In fairness to my dealership, this is the first time my vehicle's ever left the Service Dept. with a NEW problem. Part of the reason I go there is because service is always good, prices are competitive, and I want the free car wash. I don't imagine they'll give me any runaround. I'm a regular.
I'm psyched about getting the Grabber AT2's on today or tomorrow. I want to call Tire Barn every hour to see if the tires have arrived.

FWIW, the guy at Tire Barn said that General plans to discontinue the rest of their Grabber line this fall -- all tires except the Grabber AT2 because they're a new product that's selling well. I find this odd, since no place seems to stock the Grabber AT2. I guess these tires are selling based on word-of-mouth.
