These guys are renowned all over the world and are not only in the automotive industry, but earthmoving & mining as well.

Quick question, has anyone bought one of these ? and if yes, are you happy with it ?
I've heard some really good stories about it. It is a bullshiet simple install that takes 5 mins. It has 10 preset adjustments, usually comes on the middle setting no#5, and that takes the CRD 2.8 (05 onwards) KJ from 120Kw/400Nm to a stonking 141Kw/454Nm !! NOT BAD FOR PLUG IN AND PLAY !!!!
THe thing I like is that if you do the exhaust & filter mod, you can crank it upto say setting 7 or 8 & it goes to 500Nm !!! WOW!!

Uhhh, might help if you make it a little clearer which company and chip you're talking about. Not trying to be an a-hole, but I've no idea which one you're talking about from your post.

It's an Aussi company that looks to have quite a bit of experience with diesels. I wasn't able to find a U.S. distributor on their site.

http://www.upscaleauto.com/diesel_power_module.htm Diesel Power

This is the least invasive module I have found. It only modifies the "fuel pulse" and makes it longer or shorter. It DOES NOT increase fuel pressure/adjust timing/control boost parameters. This is the one I am going to get soon. It is also plug and play and comes from a company that has experience with the CRDs.

I could go on but the site itself really describes thier module in great detail.

I can now confirm 100% that my SP Diesel module did NOT improve my mileage. It is dead on the same as before.

At least yours didn't drop!! The predator module I installed decreased my mpg about 1-2 mpg. It could be I was driving it hard, but the jury is still out on it for me. I only install it when I'm towing now. Maybe I'll try to use it again and concentrate on driving nice.

Well if I were you I'd really go wit hthe SP module. I mean what a procedure to install the predator module everytime you tow something. With the SP module I switch to different power levels on the fly and I still get the same mpg as I did before.

Takes about 30 seconds to install. Not a big deal. It also comes right out for warranty work!! Also paid about 1/2 of the price of the SP. I like the idea of being able to switch power on the fly though.
