Looks like my rear wiper motor has had it. It hasn't completely quit, but it is so slow, and sometimes stationary, that it wouldn't work if it was needed.
Anyone ever changed their motor themselves? Got a procedure?

Shouldnt be a big problem. The plastic on the rear gate just pops off, so be careful about breaking the clips on the inside.

When the dealer did my rear window recall, they broke all my clips so now the plastic is loose.. :( Ive been thinking about taking it all off to see if I can fix them.. idk if there is a way though. :?

Before you replace the motor, check to see if the wiper arm is loose. There's a phillips screw at the base of the arm that might have come loose.

A few weeks ago I was at a junk yard and saw a Liberty with the rear door cover off. Took a pick inside to look at the rear wiper motor and it looked easy to remove. Might of had some rivets...

Some times it is as easy as a loose or corroded ground to the motor.
