Those bubbles of which you spoke are called IMPACT BULGES for a reason. You hit a curb, your belts in your sidewall break, and a bubble forms in the sidewall. I don't see how that ISN'T user error. Also, just because the WHEELBASE OF THE TRAILER isn't longer than the WHEELBASE OF THE JEEP doesn't mean that the WHEELBASE OF THE JEEP is SAFE to be trailering that kind of load.
When 6 different tires on 2 different cars all bubble WITHOUT HITTING ANYTHING, its not an "impact bulge" as you call it. I realize I haven't mentioned this, but for the two of you who have decided to be the illogical protectors of the world: I wasn't even driving either of those two cars, one was my grandfather's car, the other was my mother's car. I was 14 at the time, this happened more than 10 years ago. But I guess they must have been drag racing over potholes, right? I'm sure thats what you will suggest. (this is sarcasm, since you probably misunderstood that too)

Melt-away? is this even a technical tire term? are you trying to insult our intelligence? If so, you're failing. MISERABLY.
I wasn't trying for a technical term, I was trying to describe what the Michelin high-mileage tire did: lasted not half of it's mileage life, and had the same depth reading all across the tread when the guy at costco measured it: 3/32 left after only about 30k miles, on an 80k mile rated tire. To me, that tire was melting away. Find me a technical term for that, and I'll use it.

That KJ's rear flares are almost even with the tops of the rear tires in the trailer picture. if that Jeep isn't overloaded, then neither is my girlfriend's bed after we dine at chipotle.
Thanks for the unpleasant visual, but you must be looking at the wrong image. The flare and the top of the wheelwell was nowhere near the top of the rear tire. The actual deflection of the suspension when the trailer weight was added was only about an inch. Turn up the brightness on your monitor and look again.

Do you even KNOW what uneven wear is? Seriously, dude, you don't even know enough to know you don't know! Here's a tip...when the CENTERS of your tires are worn to the belts, but your shoulders still have 8/32" of tread on them...THAT'S NOT EVEN WEAR.
Wow, that was profound... Thank you, oh sage one. I'll go and look again at all my tire measurements and see that since there isn't any variation across the tread, I must have a defective gauge since it reads evenly. Someone on the internet told me my tires are wearing unevenly, of course they are correct and I can't see it. (OOPS, there's that sarcasm again)

Right back at ya there chief. Just for the record, you started the attacks here, not me.

PS- Bambi was a 14 point buck. He began as a fawn, just as all other deer. Do you even know what 14 point means?
I do know, and what exactly does that have to do with anything? Does it change anything about the situation if I instead said that "A mid-florida female representative of the deer species, approximately 200 lbs in size, maybe 3 years old, with brown eyes, brown coat, and hooves" jumped in front of my car?
Normal people tend to refer to individual members of the deer population as "Bambi" because that was what Bambi was. Does it mean anything? Obviously only to the anal retentive, or people looking to start fights on the internet. I neither know or care which one of those you are.
For anyone that finds this post in the future, feel free to contact me and ask how these tires (or any others) are wearing. I have no reason to lie or stretch the truth, so I won't. I will only be honest about my own experiences. For the two people who take delight in attacks and spouting their own knowledge about how I must be so unsafe, whatever. You are talking to yourselves, I'm out. Arguing on the internet is pointless, and I will not be drawn in by your attempts at namecalling.
