Got it fixed. Tapped it with a 1/4". Put a 1/4" plug on it with a new coupler.
And to top it off, I got an Air Chuck With Clip.

Now I just need to find a new filter!

Those are the best $50 accessory I know of for a 4x4. I've aired up 25 times or more with mine so far.

Advance Auto Parts carries them. It's not the same brand name, but still the same chinese filter. Look in the so called "performance" section.

If you want a quality product, tell the guy at the counter to pull up the K&N book. They make crankcase breathers too in many sizes and shapes.

Australian 4wd Action magazine had a huge compressor comparison last month, and they tested 3 different compressors that used the same body castings as yours - all made in China, but apparently the internals (bearings, piston, etc) will vary in quality depending on who they are made for.

I have the TJM version which works just fine.

You will never be able to use air tools directly off a compressor like that: you will need an intermediate tank to get any use at all, and even then you will have to wait for the tank to recharge. You will also need a pressure switch on the tank to cut the compressor when it reaches max. tank pressure as this will probably be less than max. compressor output.

That's a nice compressor. How does it work for you? I just have 2 cheap compressors from can tire. Thanks to the libby having an accessory plug-in in the back i can use both at the same time cutting the fill up time in half.
