It's the chicken little syndrom, of which, I am effected. I typically dispose of my cars through trade ins, so that is what I was basing the value at.
Seriously, in 3 years I'm willing to pay 4-5k.
I will pay $3100-$4100
Just trying to start a bidding war here.
I plan on driving mine until I have to start fabricating my own parts for it. I may even keep driving it then

. I have never purchased a new car. I could never justify the steep depreciation when you drive it off the lot. I am the guy that buys your car when it's only 3 years old, pays half what you did for it and drives it for another 10 - 15 years until it dies and I donate it to a charity. Change your filters and fluids religiously and this mule will run forever. Pay it off and keep putting your car payment into the bank and you could cover most repairs. I don't have to have the newest, shiniest car on the road. I am more concerned with driving a vehicle that I like and is dependable. You will have more repairs with an older vehicle because stuff wears out. In the end you have to make a decision that you are comfortable with and ignore what others say. If it was my vote, I would say keep it. But the only vote that counts is yours.
