I also have a spare set of jack stands that i could part with if anyone wants those :lol:

, They're 3 1/4 ton.

Always good to have, I've got a new set now though, the new ones hold 12K each. :twisted:

If we're doing three lifts, everybody better run to their local autozone or oreilly's and get some spring compressors. If I get the time, I'm gonna start early and get my springs out of my Jeep and take them to a local shop and have them rebuilt. That should save a little bit of time and effort.

I have a set I haven't returned yet, I can bring them.
I definitely need someone else to look at the front of my wife's. It bangs everytime you hit a bump. I think the sway bar end links are shot.

I, and some of the rest of us knows how long it takes to do a lift when things go right, we also know what can pop up and bite you in the behind and make a 2 hours job 5 hours.

Now, not trying to tick anyone off but, you can only do so much in one day, plus everyone should at the very least ask if it is OK to try and do what they want to do on that day and at that persons garage, I have heard lifts, clevis', isolators, welding, cutting bumpers and all kinds of things that may or may not get done. Just want all to be aware of that before they get there.

Everything I have done up here I knew who all was coming, if they needed anything done and they asked do you have time to do this if not we can do it another time. 2 or 3 lifts can be done, but you have to have everything ready, lots of people KNOWING their job and hope NOTHING goes wrong.

I have been to way too many goat ropings where twenty people show up and everyone wants things done and you have two or three people actually doing all the work.

Now back to your regular Wednesday Afternoon programs. :wink:

EDIT: After reading the above, you are thinking what a Jerk! And yes I can be, but I also like everyone to know upfront what may or may not happen. Trust me I have spent several hours on, beside, underneath, and inside these Jeeps.

We'll go for a little cruise and see what it is, what lift/shocks etc did you put on it?
