Yep. I did it.

Here are all of the parts. THis pic has my old blown Ranch RSX17505 shocks in it. I replaced them with Bilstein BE5-D916 when I actually assembled it.
Inventory with estimated retail prices ( got better deals waiting around and buying used):
2 - OME 927 Springs - $160
2 - Bilstein BE5-D916 front shocks - $200
4 - OEM front spring isolators - free
2 - Daystar top plates from my old lift - $62
2 - 1/4" plastic top iso spacers (to go between the top isolator and the Daystar top plate)
2 - 1/2" plastic bottom spacers (to go between the bottom isolator and the shock plate/disk) - $50 for all 4
6 - conduit nuts (found out I didn't need them)

All J's Price: $668
DIY Price : $470

Closer look at the plastic spacers I made

Bottom Spacer on a shock:

Final Assembly:

And I had to remove the conduit nuts from this assembly. They made it TOO tall.

Final Result: 24" from center of hub to fender.

Yay! It worked! I will post pics tomorrow. Was too dark when I finished tonight. I have the Pre-runner look right now, because I have Frankie up front and standard Daystar out back...

This AM in the parking lot at work:

Did you make those plastic spacers on that fancy plotter at work?

Yep. Sure did. Will be happy to make more for others if interested. I will verify actual build cost of them based on amount of material used. Will update price then.

24 inches good work, good thing you have a 2 wheel drive. Of course it should settle in about 23.5 but not bad at all

Thanks all.

I just updated first post with a pic of the Jeep too.

I kind like the pre-runner style, but i think I am going to fab some new rear isos to bump it up about another inch.

Cool -
with that much clearance and a locker in the rear -
you'd be amazed at how far out in the backcountry you can get yourself stuck.

(Looks good)

Looks great man! Throw a locker in that rear end and you'll be able to hang with the 4x4 guys!

Nice job.

Updated pics today. Added 1.25 spacer to the back... No more Pre-Runner

Final fender heights are 23.75" in the front, 22.75" in the rear.

And how did I add 1.25"? I made a spacer. Yes, I added a spacer to a spacer lift. Not ideal by any means. But it will work until I save up for a proper set of OME 948's.

I would if I could. But 33's would rub like crazy and kill my power and mileage. I should really get 4.10's for the 32's I am running.

LTT,

Very nice!

Why didn't you just use 2 upper ISO's? I'm in NO way bashing... just curious.

Looks good, makes me want to lift my wifes 4x2 Liberty. Watch out for those lower joints, they look pretty stressed. Don't know if Moogs would help at that angle.

I easily could have done that. But since I had the material, and access to build my own, I went for it. Just trying something new.
