New Exhaust - Inlet\Outlet?

Hey guys,

Question about buying a muffler, I want to remember that the Libertys muffler is a 2.5, On the website im buying the muffler from is has several options which I'm not sure about.

Offset Inlet / Center Outlet

Offset Inlet / Offset Outlet

Which one do I need? This is the part thats confusing me, also if i'm wrong about the 2.5 please correct me.

2.5 is correct
off set outlet
center inlet

How about mounting pic 1 backwards? I know that a lot of that brand's line can be done like that.

It depends on the brand(edit: Model) of muffler, some are directional.

Just got off the phone with Dynomax Tech Support. The model 17560 (pic 1) is reversable. Ordering mine after work. Free flowing straight through and should have a nice growl too.

Well, I ended up not wanting to wait for an internet order and bought one from a local parts store. I got a Dynomax Ultra Turbo (think that is the right name) for a little over $50. 24" piece of 2.5 pipe and three clamps. Turned out really nice and helped spool-up out quite a bit. Took pics, but on my 'phone right now, will post in the next day or so. Pretty darn quiet, but I can hear the turbo spool up now and there is an audible low end growl now.

GreenDiesel HOT ECU will get here Friday, along with new EU spec TC. darn excited right now. New set of 225 Hankook ATm's tomorrow, and Amsoil remote dual filter sometime next week. I really dig getting a different vehicle. Just sold my 07 Ram w/5.9 Cummins last week. Did pretty well on the deal, so mama is lettin' me play with the new toy!
