Hi,

Does anyone use Kumho 225.75.16 KL71 M/T?

Are they any good? they should fit without any lift requirement.

Also what is the general oppinion, with going to 245/75R16 tyres where you need a lift, best fit 225/75R 16 or 245/70R 16?
They I would be fitting them on normal KJ alloys wheels?

Thank you,
Fil.

I went from 225 to 245/70's on our stock '05 w/alum wheels with no rubbing issues. Granted I have all season tires, your mud tires may give you very slight rub due to the larger tread lugs, Most 245/70's will fit on stock rims without the need of a lift. You could always do a clevis lift and rear isolator for a small 1/2- 3/4 inch lift if you have rub issues. The 225's will fit fine, but if you can, no reason not to go up a size or two.

Thank you, I have contacted the seller to find out if he has that size 245/70R16 available. Worst case senario I will add spacers if the lungs rub too much. I am still planning to fit a lift (OME 2.5in) but for the time being I will have to settle for these.

Anyone here using Kumho KL71 M/T? are they any good? I am planning to use then as a second pair of wheels for when I go wheeling, they are about $150 more that a good pair of remolds!!
