I feel weird as it says service every 60k. Im used to 30k for automatics. Im at 51k now and the jeep drives like a dream, but Im thinking I might wanna do a service or flush now and then again at 60k.

I have my Trans flushed every 15k,filters get changed every 30k.Of course ATF+4 only, seems like a waste to some but cheap insurance for a $3000 trans.

Dont get me wrong I usually do the same, but then again my 2006 KJ is the first vehicle I have seen that says 60k! Drives great, but I think I might pay for a flush here soon. Im also thinking about upgrading my cooler and getting the mechanical fan at 60k. I have a warranty for the jeep, but I fear the exhaust (can take the FIPK off easy) will void any claims. ::knocks on wood::

I change my filter and fluid every 15,000, flush every 30,000 with filter and fluid change. I am only at 40,000 with my 07 but have had it flushed twice because at about 19,000 the dealership changed my tc and did the flash under warranty, so I made sure the flush was done also.

I'm in a similar boat. I just picked up my Jeep and it has 45k on the clock. Since I'm not sure of the previous owner's driving habits I think I may have the trans serviced at 50k instead of waiting.

Well I need to take the Jeep in for a balance and rotation as well as an alignment (still on the fence about this as it drives straight and no unusual tire wear). I think I might get a flush while Im at the shop, and I must admit the idea of someone else workign on the jeep scares the hell out of me! :5SHOTS:

I do too. I work the jeep pretty hard, but I follow the maintenance schedule to a T. I even do 3k synthetic oil changes, and ALWAYS use the best parts and fluids. I wish I had garage to allow me to do an engine and transmission swap cause Id love to rip out the 42rle and either rebuild it or fab in a built 45rfe. But alas I dont have the funds or a garage to do that in...but I do have the tools and know how fortunately.
