I finally hit 100k in my KK today. I have high hopes for her and
Hope she continues to perform this well for years to come. I don't
Think anyone else has hit 100k in a KK so I will now proclaim
Myself "KK 100K+ Member #1" haha. I'm glad to say I still love
My jeep as much as I did on day 1.

Good looking bike, I don't blame you for not driving the Libby. You can't have to many days to ride that in Colorado though, do you?

I only lost about 90 days of ride time from September 10 to September 11.

I wear a full carhartt suit this time of year. As long as their isn't any snow or ice, I'm riding :P

If I had kept up the driving I was doing, I would be first. HA!

I'm at 58 on my 09. I was at 36 under the 1st year and most of that came the last 4 months of the 1st year. I was driving from Detroit to Chicago at least 2 times a week. Once I made the trip 4 times and it was 300 miles each way (was north west of the city). It got "broke" in on the hwy so my mpg was great. 26.7 was the best driving it at 1800rpm all the way which is hard to do I might add. But mostly in the mid/lower 20's. Still have orig brakes too. I do wonder though if anyone has had to have any engine/power train work done under the lifetime warranty yet and had any issues with the dealer in doing so.

Just over 90K on mine. The mechanicals seem real strong. The rest of it - not so much. Haven't had the time to take it in for the new gas tank yet. I can get about .5 gallons in at a time. All I have to say is THANK GOD for the Lifetime MaxCare package. Without it, the Lifetime powertrain warranty wouldn't be worth doo doo.

Care to explain? I assume from what I've read that the engine/drivetrain are 100% covered with no deductable and it covers everything from the skin to the inside of each item. Now, I paid 90 bucks to have my rear door lock replaced and that's been it. Guess from my past ownership of the Liberty, I don't feel like I made a bad choice not buying the 2-3k dollars for this coverage. My daugthers 02 got it's radiator replaced and it was under 300.00 and everything else looks orig. Now I don't beat my KK to death but having had extended warranties before, I figured it wasn't worth it. Knock on wood.. :dizzy:

I have the $50 deductable plan. Paid $1700 for it I think... Or maybe that was on the truck and this was $2300 - I forget. I live off road and I wouldn't say I beat my jeep into the ground, but you could tell it's been driven. Somewhere around here there's a list crap that's been fixed - must have been 30 items long and that's at least a year ago. But, off the top of my head...

I just set up the appt for the gas tank - not sure what they charge for those plus install, but it's more than $50.

Rear window sensor
rear window leak
Rear gate sensor
air bag clock spring
clutch return spring
4wd switch - switch died and completely disabled the 4wd/esp/etc... great design. dash looked like a christmas tree. might have been on the powertrain warranty - don't recall
serpentine belt tensioner
separated shifter boot
missing rubber trim pieces
innumerable e-brake 'fixes' (I live on a mountain - can't park on a hill - WTF?!)

All in all, I can't believe they offered this sort of coverage on these vehicles... There's a whole other list of crap I haven't even fixed - there's some spring or something loose in the drivers seat and every time you sit down you hear CREEEAAAK - the trim pieces from the insides of the seats fell off years ago - the zipper failed on the boot for the ebrake and it's been slowly shredding itself - the fan doesn't always want to change direction - select floor and it stays on windshield or vis-versa - the compontent hookup for the stereo is loose and staticy. Basically, this jeep is a POS and if I had to keep shelling out money to fix all these things, I'd have traded it in on something else already. But now I own it outright and Jeep's on the hook, so ef 'em.

I remember 11,800 miles. That happened sometime around the 4-5th month of ownership. ;)

I lived really close to work at one time.... now I'm almost 40 miles from work. Thats about 80 miles a day. That also explains why I put 11,000 on my bike last year.... As for the jeep, just rolled 36300 ish and did my oil change....
