D30A Intermediate shaft Spicer # 84270

Ray has got it for me in three weeks from now... but does it exist anywhere else? Pictures and descriptions elude every attempt... Napa thinks I'm crazy... am I? :5SHOTS:

They've went up in price some since I bought two to stash away,
think they were 75 each

Get it quick if its making lots of noise, more than likely not much left I'll bet when you get it torn down.

I replaced all of my U joints and I still have a vibration that comes on between 45 and 55....Is this the part that is causing it? HJ

the omix ada one on amazon is an actual dana/spicer one. apparently omix ada carries dana/spicer inventory.

Check for play or a torn boot on the front drive shaft on the CV joint where it meets the transfer case. I had a vibration at about the same speed and that was the culprit, a worn CV joint.

CV was rusted to the intermediate shaft and the C clip was mangled. Re-manned CV from NAPA and new C-Clip. (Splines were a bit worn but lock well in the new CV, new inter-shaft ordered anyway.)

Major vibrations are gone.

Not a good idea to mate new splines to questionable intermediate shaft. The Jeep dealership did that to mine and ended up having to replace both the half axle and new intermediate shaft. The worn intermediate shaft ate the splines out of the CV. Best to replace them as a pair.
