hey guys!...i have a kk and today i took my boyfriends 31x10.50 and put on my stock liberty with the stock tj rim and it did not scrub when i turned it left and right and then i took his 31x10.50 with his mickey thompson side biters on and it scrubbed when i turned left and right but its back spacing is like 3.5in. so im wandering if i would be ok with a 245/75/16 all terrain on a 4.25 backspace pro comp rim. I also ordered a 2in lift for it tonight.

Those pictures are with a 15in rim also. The 15in rim is very close to my brakes.

Looks like if you stuff the tires at all you'll tear up the wheel wells. You might get rubbing on the pinch weld in reverse too. Some of the guys have run 31s with an OME lift and they've still had rubbing issues. I can't imagine you wouldn't have any at stock height

I ordered a 2in lift tonight im goin to run a 245/75/16 which is a littlesmaller than his 31. Im wonderin if ill rubbing issues while turning with a 245/75/16 on a rim backspaced 4.25in. I had no fitment issue with the 31 on his stock tj rim other than my calliper the jeep turned fine with no rubbing. What im asking is if it would rub bad on 245/75/16's with a rim that will stick out alot more like a steel rim with backspacing of 4.25 and a 2 in lift

Not sure if it will rub with those specs but I run BFG all terrains 245/75/16 with stock wheels and have no rubbing at all. It looks like if they stick out about an inch or so it should be ok with no rubbing.

all i will say is good luck... any trimming you dont do... those tires will... may fit under no compression but i bet when you make a sharp turn you will hear those tires bite

Does anyone have pics of how close a 15" wheel is to the caliper? Like what type of clearance are we talking about?

a lot of us have tested and tried... it's just too close... WAY WAY too risky to run a 15"

Not trying to be rude, but that doesn't tell me anything. I'm looking for facts, not personal opinions.
