Hopefully somebody can give me an idea of what Im up against here. Im in Central NY(syracuse) my wife is in Lima Oh with the 07KJ. She just texted that the ESP,& ABS lights just came on, cruise control stopped working, windshield washer stopped wortking,& rear wiper stopped working, all within about a 20 mile distance. My daughter is with her and has checked a few things like fuses & connections. What are the odds that they will make it back to NY without being towed ???
They are out there for orientation at UNOH where my daughter will be going to school to be an Auto Tech. She has a lot of basic knowledge, but no tools to work with.
Any info that anybody could throw my way would be greatly appreciated.

She did check both fuse blocks. I suggested to her to talk to a few people there to see if she could pull it in & check it over. She has 2 years of tech training already & I do have a lot of faith in her abilities. I was kinda hoping somebody had run into this before and could make the shake down a little easier.
Thank you for your response and the offer to find some local help. I'll let yall know what she comes up with.

The first three issues sound like a bad wheel sensor. The other two issues make me think there is a possibility that some critter may have chewed your wiring harness, or something along those lines. Very similar thing happened to me with my old zx2. Also check wiring/connections at the ECU

I was figuring 1 of the wheel sensors crapped out. Strikes me as wierd that all this goes at once. Could it be because I just mailed the last payment ??

Now that you're married to it, it no longer feels the need to impress you

How many miles are on it? It could be the wiring harness. I had a 98 BMW E36 where around 110K miles on it it had an electrical meltdown due to some parts of the electrical wiring being fried! Took a while to fix and was a pain in the neck.

Clock spring? Had similar symptoms on a former vehicle and that's what it was.

Its got 65000 miles on it. OK after pulling each fuse individually and putting them back the fog light, turn signals, wiper & washers work fine. I put in a new abs sensor on the right front & that fixed the ABS/ESP light and now cruise works again to. Just pulled the switch for the power mirrors and ordered a new one.
I guess Voodoomann was right. Last payment mailed & it decided it was done impressing me. WTF Ive owned 2 other Jeeps before this one, they never gave me the issues this one is. Oh well at least I still have the lifetime powertrain warranty.
I do have to say while I was working on the ABS sensor I noticed that the original equipment brake pads still have a ton of meat left on them. That surpised me. Ive had other vehicles that needed front brakes at 30K.
Thanks to all for the sugegstions.
