But if it's a drivetrain issue, how hard would it be for them to say "nope, that after market LSD did it"

. So, while it's setting dead in the driveway, or at the dealership, it could take a long time to fight with Jeep to prove it wasn't. I know there are horror stories and stories that worked out in favor of the jeeper, but that's why for my lift, I'm going to a jeep dealership to have it done. They sell it and install it and they know how to deal with Chrysler when it comes to these issues. It's a big dealership and the owners son does these lifts. He's lifted many commanders and liberties (and wranglers) around here. As far as the LSD, I don't think they do these but I will ask. It's like breaking the seal on a computer case. Once it's "tampered" with, any warranty goes out the door. At 70k and as much as I drive it, I'm net yet ready to drop a few grand on fixing something that they say I caused and the warranty is the only reason I plan on keeping it till it rots

. Any mods I've done so far are cosmetic. Skids, roof rack, window vents, rock rails. Once I start installing lifts and limited slips or lockers, everything changes. Kinda torn. I want to make it a little more capable off road but mostly get it up off the ground. I'm past worrying about gas mileage with all the extra pounds and the 255/65 16's I put on it.
