I couldn't find one anywhere but the dealer but that was a couple years ago. Try justforjeeps.com You want the seven pin plug.

If you have a uHaul near you try them too, it won't be a mopar specific but will still work. It just depends on if Jeep already pre-ran all the wiring harnesses which wouldn't surprise me since its cheaper to just run them and not need them than to need them and run them later.

or here is a link on amazon for around $21 its not mopar specific but it will work because you won't use the adapter that goes to the vehicle anyways

The OEM harness comes with a relay pack and some other things. Make sure that you don't let anyone splice into your wires, there will be damage as a result and that's a nasty can of worms once it's opened.

Thanks for the info everyone. Yeah Ted I wasn't planning on going to the dealer to install, I'll try to find out as much info as I can here and on jeepforum so I don't have to waste my money for someone else to read instructions to install it

I found a few places that have the specific 7-way harness. JustForJeeps has it for $140, MoparOnlineParts $125 and Amazon for $123.

About the same price as when I got mine in 09.
I'm not a fan of aftermarket wire kits. I stick to MOPAR parts for mine.
I've never had issues with any after more than 30 years of using them. So worth the money.
I did learn something or relearned it. Towing my kayak trailer I was told I only had right turn/taillight, on trailer. So I looked wire pulled out of left taillight. I pushed them back in- should be good! Next day No lights! What?
So going to the left taillight - last known issue, I find no problems. I spent about 2 hours checking everything. Didn't find a thing. Then I took off the 7-4 way adapter dirt had built up in it. Cleaned it and all lights worked. Of course if my test light had a bulb or if my wire wasn't broke on my meter, I'd have found it sooner. But at least I now know my wires and lights are all in good shape.;).

Ripped the side skirts off. Only broke a few tabs on the way out too so I can probably put them back on pretty easily. I haven't trimmed up the mudflaps yet but I felt like I was hearing some extra wind noise on the highway. I assume they were on their for aerodynamics so some extra noise seems normal. I thought I had pics on my phone but I'll have to post em later. It's not much of a different but I think it makes the stance look a little more aggressive.

Attempting the black headlight bezel mod for the second time as we speak. First try a few months ago didn't go well and I didn't have the patience lol..

Hoping someone can answer this for me. Is there a way to get rid of the long rev's the KK has? Why does it do this and is it impossible to get rid of?

Not sure what the reason is, but that's just the way it is.
I'm used to a 300 horsepower carbureted engine, so you can imagine how I feel. :furious:

So does anyone know what to do to change the long revs? Is there a chip or something to shorten them?

I think Troy mentioned it had something to do with the efi... I think all the modern engines hang. I don't like it either...

Outer driver cv boot cut, grease everywhere and a bad bearing to go with it. Ordered the parts this morning. I'd rather do it myself than fight the stealership for a warranty repair. :banghead:

I think he is just wanting to know the quality so he just wanted an upclose picture of the receivers.

Looks like they are factory tow hooks with the hooks removed, 2x6 receivers welded to them, then HF receiver shackles inserted into them.

RLDstover, be careful with those shackles man. I was looking those the other day, I really wouldn't pull hard on them after seeing how they're built.

That really does look nice id like to do my grill the lights and maybe the center of the hood then maybe find some black liberty decals for the hood if I can find them not sure if the ones I saw were white or black just that it looked neat.
