Wow, I'm glad she's ok! Jeeps are safe, solid vehicles. My wife walked away from a head-on with a concrete barrier when someone sideswiped our XJ a few years ago. We didn't hesitate to replace it with another Jeep either. The KK seems like a "grown up" version of the XJ anyway, so it was a natural progression.
In addition to attending to the water pump, I would change the plugs and air filter on the engine, as well as do an oil change soon. I would also change the cabin air filters (inside a little plastic door behind the glove box) as well. Otherwise, you should be good.
How many miles are on it? If 60-100K+, I would recommend transmission fluid and filter, as well as transfer case and differential fluid changes. Check the owners manual for a list of recommended maintainance by mileage.
113k miles. I'll get a quote on the fluid changes. I can do the transfer/diff change but would rather try my luck with the transmission change.
