Not to jack the thread but i am also looking to lift my 08 jeep liberty with 113k on it, about 2 to 3 inches max to be safe I'm on the budget, never had experience with lifted jeeps, I recently bought a set of quick strut assemblies for the front, was going to buy ott brackets since assemblies are not installed yet but heard that it damages more components, so what are the easiest way or what parts to buy to get lift done,I want to reuse my quick struts or parts since they are new and do the right lift ,would rk x factor work in my case?, for x factor lift I would be willing to install it myself i am also looking at the possibility to get ome ecOno lift as well, and approximate $$ it would cost me for the install and parts
What part# from ecOno lift either together or separate do I need or any additional parts I need to get it done , I see budget lift lists only one shock option for the rear on jba website , I heard extended ome is better and where to buy it I appreciate any replies and sorry i made it so long..
First just sell the quick struts and buy a full spring lift kit.
There is NO spacer lift that is worth installing if you want any kind of decent ride and have something that will last for a while
If you want a good lift go to JBA and buy the OME full spring lift which comes with shocks etc.
If you want 3 inches of lift ( OME by itself gives you 2.5 inches ) you can add a 1/4 inch top plate and one extra upper isolater per side in the rear and you'll have 3 inches over new stock height.
best time to do it right is the first time
By the way the fron quick strust fit everything from 2002-2012 Libertys so someone who wants stock will buy them
