Finally got some more time when I wasn't working. Got out there tonight and pulled the old intake off and cleaned surfaces and prepped for reinstallation of the new Edelbrock Performer intake. Yanked the pulleys back off the front, pulled the waterpump and front cover along with the fuel pump. Reinstalled the front cover with new gasket and the new 12pt. ARP fasteners. Reinstalled the fuel pump with new gasket and ARP bolts. Tomorrow the waterpump and intake go back on along with oil pan, pulleys, timing mark and headers, all with 12pt Stainless ARP fasteners. Drill 4 new holes in the body for ..... well .... that'll be another thread! I've got the next 3 days off, there's no snow and it's above 50 degrees :pepper: , maybe I can make some progress!!

Tom and Hart - I found the missing bolt!! :ROTFL:

Drilled some more holes today! :SOMBRERO: Not enough ... but it's a start!
I just did a few small things today, drilled some holes, but couldn't get where I needed to get with my drill motor. :banghead: Spent a while on that just making sure these holes are exactly where I want them. Got the front holes done, but couldn't get the drill in for a straight shot through for the other side of the hole. :furious: I think if I knew of someone :juggle: .... anyone  ..... who lives in Swanton  .... who might have one, I need a 90 degree dill motor! I might need to ask to borrow it!
I also cut out the other part of the old radiator support, then bolted up the top support and blocked up the new radiator and did some measuring for new mounts. Drew a couple things on paper for it.
So it was on to something else. I pulled the shifter out of the inside and sat it next to the new B&M. 8) Hmmmm, pulled the console over and sat it over the top! Went and bolted the new shifter down with 2 bolts using the front stud as one of the front mounting spots, pulled the console out to the Jeep and ....Sweeeet! The B&M ratchet shift will fit very nicely in the factory console! Just had to notch the plastic a little bit at the front for the reverse lockout lever! All I will really want or need now is ...... Hmmmmm , I wonder if I know anybody ... ...anybody at all... who could get me a piece of some kind of ... ooohhhhhhh I don't know ...... maybe leather material of some sort for a small boot! :SOMBRERO: Maybe just 12" x 12" would do!! :jester:
Also today I pulled the grab bar & A-Pillar moulding out and test fitted the new gauge pod with the gauges in it. Not really working on any of the electric yet, but it all has to get done at some point! And I just wanted to see what it was going to look like! :goink:

I'll try and get a couple of pics of the shifter tomorrow

edit: I know he however can't come up with black leather, he seems to be out of it right now

Pics showing fitment of the B&M shifter sitting in the stock location with the console. I'll have to make a "boot" to fit over and cover what's left of the hole, but I think it will end up looking good.

After looking some more at it I may be able to raise it about 1-1/2" and then I'll be able to actually even use the gear pointer built into the mechanism.

Nice, I think this is the most interesting build/mod I have seen on Liberty. Oh,and good choice on PowerPlant.

That is a VERY good choice for an engine. You will need a good supply of tires for it too!

Thanks Ridenby and Fulltimer. Terry, Ya I think when it hits the road I'm going to take the 33's off and put the 31" Michelin A/T's back on so that I burn .... errrr ... wear them down first and save the treadwrights for off road
